As a certified dive instructor, she led guests through remarkable underwater landscapes from the Maldives to Raja Ampat, shaping her commitment to thoughtful, sustainable exploration. After years running a boutique hotel, she co-founded Vanatara Journeys to create meaningful journeys that connect travellers with local people, places, and cultures—while respecting the environments and communities that make each destination unique.

Travel Designer · SingaporeBenjamin's love affair with travel started long before Vanatara did. Born in Austria, he spent years living and working across South America and Asia — building deep relationships with the people, hotels, and experiences that make these regions so extraordinary.
His career has spanned luxury hospitality, tourism, and high-end expedition travel, giving him a rare combination of on-the-ground knowledge and strategic perspective. As a partner at 360 Private Travel and a VP at a leading American technology company, Benjamin brings both a global network and an operator's eye for detail to everything he does.
He believes the best travel is never about ticking boxes — it's about finding the experiences that genuinely move you.
